La historia
LA OBRA DE ARTE: CAOS EN ORDEN
“The Construct” No. 01 brings the raw energy of brutalist architecture to your daily ritual. Julian Hayes reimagines the coffee cup not as a vessel, but as a functional monolith . The design features intersecting black cubes and sharp architectural lines, rendered with heavy charcoal textures that create a stunning 3D visual anchor. Remastered for the ceramic medium, this piece serves as a reminder of structural integrity and mathematical beauty from the first sip of the day.
EL ARTISTA: JULIAN HAYES
Based in Brooklyn, Julian Hayes applies his background in structural engineering to everyday objects. His work strips away the unnecessary to reveal the underlying soul of the form. In “The Construct,” Hayes captures the tension between concrete and shadow, turning a simple mug into a piece of gallery-grade art for those who navigate the world with precision and intent.
EL BARCO: CALIDAD DE ESTUDIO
-
La cerámica: Crafted from high-density white ceramic with a brilliant gloss finish that accentuates the charcoal gradients and sharp geometric edges.
-
La impresión: Using a specialized high-definition process, the textured grain and 3D depth are embedded deep into the glaze. The colors remain permanent, scratch-resistant, and vivid through years of studio use.
-
Daily Logic: Microwave and dishwasher safe. A classic 11 oz silhouette designed for those who require both structure and caffeine to fuel their creative process.
