La historia
THE DESIGN: STRUCTURE IN MOTION
The “Kinetic Silence” No. 01 Art Mug is part of Julian Hayes’ exclusive exploration into Industrial Sumi-e . This piece captures the raw, unyielding energy of a single black ink stroke against a stark white ceramic void. Designed for the focused mind, the artwork features Hayes’ signature jagged edges and dry-brush textures , turning a daily object into a functional monument of modern art.
EL ARTISTA: JULIAN HAYES
Known for his “Visual Silence” philosophy, Brooklyn-based artist Julian Hayes applies his structural engineering background to everyday objects. This mug is designed to sit on the desks of creators, architects, and thinkers—serving as a visual anchor during the creative process.
THE BUILD: STUDIO QUALITY
-
Surface: High-contrast archival ink ensures the matte black stroke remains sharp and vivid over time.
-
Ergonomics: A generous C-handle for a comfortable grip, available in the preferred 11oz size for long studio sessions.
-
Aesthetic: A seamless blend of Eastern minimalism and Western industrial grit.
